Alco Donates New Equipment to Miami Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Alco Windows and Doors continues to invest in South Florida’s community health by donating equipment to a local martial arts academy in Miami. 

Team Alpha Miami received new floor mats totaling over $8,000. The donation helps the organization continue to upgrade its equipment and provide an important service in its area.

The Academy offers mixed martial arts instruction to both adults and children ages three and up. Team Alpha has earned top recognition in their field, competing and winning multiple championships on the local and national levels. Their accolades include top-3 finishes in Atlanta, Chicago, and Florida and the 1st place title at the 2014 North American championship.

The Academy’s director, Carlos Sainz, utilizes a diverse teaching style to bring out the best in his students. His true passion for both his students’ success and Jiu Jitsu as an art have resulted in total success for the growth of Alpha Miami. He is a friend, father, brother, and most importantly, a coach to children and adults alike across South Florida. Carlos gives it his all, and you can truly feel it once stepping into a class. He welcomes all to come and train.
