It’s project time! In the days before our installation team arrives, we’ll send you instructions on how to prepare your home properly. Once work begins, our team will treat your home like it’s our own. We’ll also make sure to clean up all renovation areas and leave your home in better shape than we arrived!

Step 5

We’ll handle all permitting and approval steps with your HOA and city officials. Once regulatory requirements are handled, one of our consultants will schedule a final walkthrough to make sure you are happy with your installation.

My experience with this company was incredible. I still can’t believe it. Excellent customer service from beginning to end. I was given a quote by Ariel who took the time to explain all our options and was very informative. The price was very competitive. While waiting for installation I was informed via email of where we were in the permitting and manufacturing process. The installation team was AMAZING. Great workers, cleaned up after themselves and most importantly arrived every morning on time. They never skipped a day or had to leave early. You can tell that they were solely working on our house. Unfortunately in Miami sometimes workers can be spotty or work on multiple projects at once. They were detail oriented and quickly saw I was too. They took their time and made sure all the small small details were okay with me. We had a project that included 16 windows, 2 doors and a sliding door. It took about 7 days to complete from beginning to end including inspection and also changing the size of an opening. The gentleman that worked on changing the opening and plastering did a fantastic job. I cannot stress how excellent they are at communicating (staff, salespersons, installers). My husband and I were blown away and would recommend themin a heart beat. Stop overthinking this decision and hire this company!!!

I chose to call Alco based on their high rating and some horror stories I had heard from friends with lower cost options. Alco's quote was similar to the other 2 quotes I had recieved, however I chose them for the job because they were the only ones that had solutions for some special requests that I had and they were slightly cheaper. I wanted a solid blue door and also to install a window where a sliding glass door was. Mike at Alco said they would be able to get it done. The process was a little longer than estimated since the windows were delayed and issues were encountered with the door. I was insistent on the door and Mike made it happen. The crew was very nice and cleaned up their mess. They didnt damage any of my sills and framed my new doors very nicely. The installation was very easy compared to what I thought it would be in my head based on other horror stories I heard. We got hit with ETA 5 days after the installation was complete and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Alco for your window and door needs.

Appointments

Scheduling an appointment:

Option 1: (Virtual meeting)

In an effort to bridge the social distancing gap, when scheduling an appointment, we can perform our entire presentation via video conferencing software, Zoom. With Zoom, you can see and speak to one of our sales reps via video, as well as view our presentation. Our presentations are also recorded and will be provided to you for reference.

Option 2: (Print materials dropped off)

If technology is not your strong suit, we can also drop off print materials at your doorstep and review them over the phone.

Option 3: (In-person)

If you would like to meet in person, we are taking the proper precautions by using masks, gloves, and disposable shoe covers. However, we prefer to limit this interaction to conserve the supply of masks for our first responders, the elderly, and the sick.

To provide you with a quote, we still need to visit your property for measurements. We do not need to enter your property, though, as we can measure your windows and doors from the outside.

Testing Staff

Since the US is currently in a short supply of Coronavirus testing kits, we are holding off on proactively testing our team to ensure first responders, the elderly, and symptomatic people receive these tests first. When tests become readily available to everyone, we will regularly test at the expense of Alco. 

 

Window & Door Orders

Regarding your Impact Windows & Doors Order:

Installations:

Installations will continue for counties and associations that allow us to. During the installation, our team will be wearing protective gloves and masks. Also, after each day of installation, our team will sanitize all work areas with a Hospital grade Centers for Disease Control & Protection (CDC) approved cleaning solutions.

 

The factory:

Because South Florida has hurricanes as another looming threat, impact window and door manufacturers are continuing to process orders. All of our factory partners have informed us of the enhanced steps they are taking to protect their staff and community.

 

Inspections / Permits:

As of March 23, all permitting departments for all cities are open for business. Due to the dynamic nature of the situation please contact us for more details.

*50% discount on installation provided by ALCO Windows and Doors and will be applied at the time of estimate. No minimum project amount is required. Discount is available to cash customers and those with other NON-PACE modes of financing. Cannot be combined with any other offer.

**Loans are made by participating lenders to borrowers for the purchase of goods and services from participating businesses. All loan terms are subject to credit approval. Loan amounts vary by state.

1 No payments are assessed during 24-month promotion starting at approval, but interest is accruing; interest will be reversed if loan is paid off by end of promotion. If loan is not paid off in promotion, installment payments begin based on risk-based APR between 14.99% and 23.99% for the remaining life of the loan.

2 Up to 5 fixed payments at 1% of total spend starting at approval. Remaining balance is amortized at 0% for the remaining life of the loan.
